Call for papers: Smart And Sustainable Cities conference

The societal, digital and environmental transitions and the possible and desirable futures in the field of smart and sustainable cities.

Smart and sustainable cities can optimize the use of resources and space, improve traffic and ecological footprint, increase the quality and variety of services in health, education, employment, culture or links within the community. The Smart and Sustainable Cities conference aims to advance research to make the most of what sciences and technologies can bring to our societies.

On behalf of the SSC-2022 scientific and organizing committees, you are cordially invited to attend the fourth conference on Smart & Sustainable Cities.

This 4th edition of the interdisciplinary conference Smart and Sustainable Cities will take place on 27 and 28 October 2022. It aims to gather academics, experts and professionals from the private, public and associative sectors in one place. This conference will focus on societal, digital and environmental transitions and the possible and desirable futures in the field of smart and sustainable cities. Authors are invited to submit papers or posters in French or English in all fields as long as they contribute to this reflection.

The conference aims to provide an international overview of the latest advancements of the aspects of Smart-Cities, including smart health, smart mobility, social innovation, new inclusive and green business models, urban ecology, resilient sustainable buildings, energy efficiency and clean energy deployment. This conference will be the place to debate and exchange ideas.

Featured speakers

Carlos Moreno will give a keynote lecture on October 27th. He is an associate professor at IAE Paris-Université Paris Sorbonne and a world-known expert in smart cities.

Main topics covered by the conference

SSC-2022 warmly welcomes research contributions from various fields, including economics, environmental & social sciences, management, urban & regional planning, computer science, engineering and energy-related studies, as well as from the professional community. You are invited to submit both theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of Smart-Cities for presentation at the SSC-2022 Conference.

Sessions in all areas of societal, digital and environmental transitions in the field of smart and sustainable cities are welcome.

Sessions organizers have to take charge of all the details including the quality of the presented papers.
