Fateh BELAÏD is currently Professor of Economic Sciences at the Catholic University of Lille, UMR 9221-LEM-Lille Économie Management. He holds a doctorate in Economic Sciences, a master’s degree in economic decision methodology and an engineering degree in Statistics. After two years of practice as a temporary teaching and research attaché, he continues his research on modeling and energy consumption in the residential homes at the Research center on Housing (UMR CNRS-7218 LAVUE) for a period of two years. At the end of the postdoctoral mission, he joined the Economics and Human Sciences division of CSTB to continue his research on the questions of energy demand and efficiency. His work mainly concerns the economics of energy, the environment and economic and statistical modeling linked to energy efficiency, fuel poverty, rebound effect, etc. He is the author of numerous articles in national and international journals. Fateh Bélaïd has contributed to several studies and research on behalf of national and international institutions (UNDP, European Union, ANR, DHUP, ADEME, etc.).
