In 2001 Monica completed a master’s degree in political science in Italy. His course ended with the writing of a final thesis on the subject of sustainable development (Financing by regional banks for projects under the Cotonou Convention between the EU and the ACP countries).

After 3 years in an Italian telecommunications company and 10 years in a bank as a manager, Monica arrives in France where she teaches management courses in the arts and crafts of Lille.

At the end of 2016, she embarked on a PhD in Management Sciences specializing in “Marketing and Consumer Behaviour” at the IAE in Lille. His topic dealt with the role of the circulation of goods and brands in changing a consumer network.

A Temporary Teaching and Research Attaché for 2 years at the IAE, Monica obtained her qualifications to the position of Lecturer last March before joining the FGES as a professor-researcher in management, on September 1.

His current research projects are numerous.

TTC Project: Monica is working on the interdisciplinary project Tourism Territory and Covid, “which brings together managers, economists, sociologists, computer engineers and modeling specialists. Its primary objective is to analyse the direct and indirect effects of the pandemic on tourism supply and its evolution in the Hauts-de-France region on the basis of a field survey and interviews. Through the study of the effects of the Covid 19 pandemic, he is particularly interested in anticipating adaptations/reactions and laying the foundations for anticipating new forms of tourism, experiences and value proposition of tomorrow’s tourism, including its digital and immersive dimensions. »
Monica teaches at L1 and L3 Management, L2 TGDD and all Masters.
