After several years of graduate studies in China, Qing arrived in France for her 4th year of bachelor’s degree* at ESC Rennes Business School as part of an exchange program. She then joined the Master of Science in Finance at the EDHEC Business School and the Master of Research in Banking Management and International Finance at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis (now known as Université Côte d’Azur). Qing continues her training with a PhD in Economics on “Bank mergers and acquisitions: challenges in terms of efficiency, competition and governance of financial activity”. At the same time, she begins teaching in marketing, micro and macro economics and management. She defended her thesis in 2014.
From 2014 to 2017, Qing worked at the Bank of China in Paris as a corporate client manager and continued to teach a few courses at the University of Côte d’Azur.
From 2017 to 2021, back in Nice, Qing worked as a project manager at the private company Chinazur International Développement. At the same time, she joins the University of Côte d’Azur to conduct research projects within GREDEG.
On the research side, Qing is continuing its projects started with its various partners at the University of Côte d’Azur:
– Development of Fintechs and digitalization of payments;
– Development of the tourism and sports economy;
– Project on equity-based crowfunding in China.
